Using your existing
merchant account
If you already have a merchant account (that is, your company
can already accept credit cards), then there is nothing additional
you need to do in order to start using our shopping cart tools.
Simply place our ADD TO CART button next to each product you would
like to sell on your web site, and, you can begin selling online.
When an order is placed, you will be notified by email. You can
then sign on to our secure merchant web site to view details of
the order including the credit card number so that you can process
the order manually through the credit card terminal or software
you currently use.
Real Time Credit Card Processing
You can optionally choose to activate real-time processing,
so that orders are automatically processed through your existing
merchant bank. To activate this real time processing, there is a
$49 one time setup fee. For real time credit card processing, your
merchant account must support either the VisaNet/Vital
or NOVA processing network. These are the two largest
processing banks, your merchant account provider can inform you
if your account is in fact using one of these protocols.
